On to a more heavyweight side of news from the LBF. Omnibus, the world’s largest specialist publisher of music-related books, added to its already impressive catalogue with the launch of MODS The New Religion. An impressive tome, penned by the wildly enthusiastic and knowledgeable Paul ‘Smiler’ Anderson, it charts the history of the MOD generation with first-hand accounts from the people who were there. I’m hoping to produce a full review of this shortly. My initial impression is that whether you were on the scene or not, this is going to be a classic. More soon.
